Patient Reports Relief from a Burning, Achy Lower Back [Gonstead Chiropractic San Diego]

Earlier this year, a 26 year old female presented to the office with complaints of achy low back pain with associated burning pain in both sides of the glutes.    She also complained of numbness in the center of the back near the lower thoracic and upper lumbar spinal areas.  She rated her symptoms as 8/10 severity and was taking 800mg of ibuprofen each day in order to manage the discomfort and allow her to push through.  As a mother of two energetic children and a full time server at a local restaurant, the patient described the pain as significantly limiting caring for and playing with her kids, as well as limiting her ability to work.  The way these symptoms were impacting her life was what drew her to seek help at The Gohl Clinic of Chiropractic.

This patient underwent care from 1/22/15 to 3/13/15, receiving 12 adjustments during that time.  No other care was performed other than specific chiropractic adjustments and ice as needed.  Pre and post-care x-ray’s are shown below.  During this care period, the patient was primarily adjusted at L5, L4 and the left ilium (as a PIEX listing, pull move).

At the patient’s 12th visit re-exam, she enthusiastically stated that she was pain free with significant improvement in all previous complaints.  In addition, she did not need her daily dose of ibuprofen anymore, was able to keep up with her children and perform at her job pain free!  If you or a loved one are suffering from pain or disease and are interested in hearing about many cases with these types of results, call us today to schedule a consultation with your San Diego Gonstead Chiropractor in Carlsbad.
